Mordekai Ongo
This portfolio is a documentation of
my reflection on my personal, intellectual and professional growth as a PhD
student in the Higher Education program at Andrews University. It provides descriptions of how I have
changed or learned from my experiences.
The PhD program has inspired me to
think deeply and critically about learning and about my career, and in the end,
it has given me a better understanding of myself.
The documentation is divided into
three main parts; namely, Part I—The Journey (Who Am I? Personal Philosophy of
Education, and International Study Tours), Part II—Learning and Development Outcomes
(Self-Development Competencies, Interpersonal
Development Competencies, Leadership and Organizational Development
Competencies, and Research Skills Development Competencies), and Part
III—The Synthesis Paper.
In Part II, the portfolio demonstrates
my growth in both theoretical knowledge and its practical
application in the four core competencies.
Mordekai,
ReplyDeleteI like this Introduction; it succinctly outlines and describes your portfolio, helping readers to anticipate its contents.
I also like how you have provided several notable leaders to 'frame' each page of your portfolio, leaders who have inspired your journey and whom you admire.
